The wait is ALMOST over – KALI PUJA this Saturday!

After a successful Durga Puja, time beckons for the next major festival on our calendars. Preparations are now in full swing to celebrate Kali Puja the evening of October 30th with the traditional religious fervor accompanied by fireworks, delicious food and a showcase of local drama talent.

Registration & Access

• Only registered people with fully vaccinated status or negative COVID test will be allowed on campus. If you have not registered yet, please do so now.
• Visit https://durgabari.net/pujas/ to register for Kali Puja
  You can also offer Puja Sankalpa – both in-person and online live formats are available. Access the same link for registration
• All in-person attendees must produce either full vaccination against Covid19 or a negative test report. Only State regulated tests (PCR, RAT) are acceptable. If you have submitted your vaccination reports before October 12th, no further action is necessary. All others, including new Kali Puja registrants, may email their vaccination reports to 2021vax@durgabari.org for expedited admission
• Onsite Covid19 testing will be organized for those without vaccination/test reports or anyone wanting to undergo a validation test

 

Parking

Please keep your parking decals intact – these will be required during Kali Puja
Overall footfall is expected to be less during Kali Puja due to lower level of registrations. In the light of this and to reduce the cost of operations, the following changes in parking assignments will be made:
Grand/Platinum and Gold sponsors with assigned parking in Main Parking and Kala Bhavan Parking respectively will continue to have priority access to these parking areas
Jain Temple allottees will be allowed to park in the Main Temple Parking to the extent vacant space is available.
Any overflow from the original Jain Temple allotment and Arya Samaj allottees will park in Jain Temple. Shuttle service between Jain Temple and DB will be available.
Parking at Arya Samaj will be discontinued.
Green Field parking will continue as per previous assignments.
New Kali Puja registrants and those who did not receive parking decals are strongly encouraged to use Uber/Lyft. Depending on actual attendance, some parking space may be available in Jain Temple/Green Field but it cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Other Information

Dinner coupons will be distributed from Kala Bhavan.
All 3 Pujas and Durga Puja registrants are eligible to receive one free copy of Sharad Arghya, the Puja magazine. If you have not collected your copy during Durga Puja, please do so during Kali Puja. Any uncollected copies will be distributed to the wait listed at the end of Kali Puja.
Some minor items are lying with `Lost & Found’. Please contact the Registration team if you may be the owner of these items. These will be disposed of after Kali Puja.
