Dear Community Members,
Get ready to share your creativity for our 26th Anniversary Durga Puja Magazine, Sharad Arghya 2026! To ensure a memorable edition representing the diverse talents of our Durga Bari family, the Magazine Committee cordially invites your contributions.
Submission Deadline: August 9th , 2026 – [ Note earlier deadline than usual ]

We welcome original stories, poems, travelogues, informational pieces, or essays on any topic.
Format: Submit your work as both a Word file (.doc/.docx) for editing and a PDF file (.pdf).
Bengali Section: Articles must be typed using Google Bangla Input Tools.
English Section: All fonts are acceptable (subject to final layout adjustments by the committee).
AI Policy: While we welcome the use of modern tools in today’s world, Durgabari magazine platform is to showcase your very own creativity and talent . We warmly encourage original, personal storytelling that resonates with your own voice. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to review, edit and/ or decline submissions that appear mostly generated by AI.
We love featuring the boundless imagination of our younger generation! Children can submit artwork or write-ups on any topic.
Handwritten Bengali: Will be printed as submitted. Please ensure clear handwriting with 2-inch margins on both sides.
Required Details: Clearly mark all submissions with the writer’s/artist’s Name, Age, Title of the work, and City of residence.
2nd Gen Adult Art: Puja-themed drawings or paintings by our second-generation adults may be featured in the magazine or on promotional flyers.
Subject Line for Cover Entries: Use “Magazine Cover Artwork” in your email.
4. Celebrating Our Graduates
If you are a 2026 High School or College graduate, we want to celebrate you! Please email the following details:
1.Student picture (high resolution with close up on the face)
2. Student Name
3. Current School Name
4. College the student will attend, and their major (if known)
5. Awards/Honors/Achievements (max 50 words, preferably within 35)
6. Hobbies
7. Goals (max 35 words)
8. Parents’ names
9. A quote that inspires you
