Bipadtarini Puja was celebrated at Houston Durgabari on Saturday, July 06. There is a popular belief that Bipadtarini Puja is performed to get blessings from Ma Bipadtarini to protect our family from all types of danger. According to tradition, we performed the rituals of offering 13 kinds of fruits, flower and sweets to the Goddess.
There were 14 families who sponsored the puja. All devotee families took home a tray of prasad alongwith 13 different fruits and the holy red threads for the entire family. Our special thanks to all volunteers who helped us to prepare the bhog and make arrangement for the puja. We also thank Mridula for the garland for Ma Durga. We had a wonderful puja event; it was a grand success.
