Houston Durga Bari Society celebrated its 20-year anniversary on December 1, 2019. A day of devotion and blessings to celebrate the establishment of Ashtadhatu deities at Durgabari. Pran Pratistha Dibas started with Abhishekam Puja, followed by Anjali, Bhog, Arati, and Hom. Pran Pratistha Day celebrations continued with a beautiful musical session of Bhajans and devotional songs, performed and directed by Smt Rajnita Bandyopdhyay and her troupe of talented singers and musicians. It was particularly heartening to see so many next generation talents excel admirably. Finally, devotees enjoyed a delicious khichuri lunch with beguni, cabbage, and mishti.
